每年好莱坞都有空难，97年的《空中监狱》要比96年的《最高危机》更胜一筹。这几年的灾难片似乎在追求“规模效应”，你的火山能填平一个小镇，我的飞机核弹能摧毁一座大都市；你的陨石能覆盖曼哈顿，我的陨石能毁灭全人类。其实，一举清除千百万人的电影镜头早已丧失了威吓作用。《空中监狱》不追求死人的数量，但死得很精彩，人的“质量”更高。
